Don’t seem to really care about patients can never get appointments if you do it’s only over the phone

Like many other reviews on here mine is on same lines gone to collect meds to be told by chemist not received as next door to doctors went to ask why. receptionist a greying middle ages lady one ive never seen was extremely rude gave her mine name as asked to be told in a condescending voice ask for date birth not name after confirming date birth she told me doctor will sign off meds that evening 4 days after pain meds where ordered . Told her this was not acceptable as been 3 days without pain relief patches she finally emails doctor who replied in minutes saying meds where ready for collection on leaving she turn to her colleague and said thats a name ill not forget . IF this is how you are now treating patients can understand low reviews

If i could give 0 stars I would. My partner went in to collect his meds per docs instructions, but the way the receptionist spoke to him made him feel completely less than. For someone who is struggling immensely with their mental health, the people here are so rude it ends up making matters worse. As someone who works in customer service, I cannot fathom speaking to people the way she spoke to him.

It pains me both personally and professionally to do this review. I am a specialist nurse advisor so I tend to be very low maintenance because I know and experience the pressure Health services especially primary care is under, but it is very clear Springhead health do not have the capacity to deal with the needs of their many patients. Up until 1 month ago I could NEVER say a bad thing about them because honestly it was great- fair enough appointments were hard to get but I would just get on with it the next day again at 8am or go to urgent care. My issue is that this new Anima triage system is diabolical or rather who ever is triaging the patients is diabolical. Oh and also the admin taking their time to upload essential consultant letters which they did not even do properly as they uploaded 2/5 pages. I have done a formal complaint on 4/11/2025 - I am still awaiting a formal acknowledgement (breaking there own 2 day notice in their complaint policy) and I am closely observing the countdown to the 10 working day handling of the complaint. I will give a follow up once I have one but please those moving into the catchment area do NOT join this practice- in its current state you will be sorely dissatisfied.
