A bit grubby and shabby in places (tired wood laminate flooring, uninspired decor, worn out furniture, a bit dark) — I think the coffee is decent but not quite first rate. Get the atmosphere up to modern standards and the coffee to have some more strength and flavour and it's a five star. But then again, part of me likes the lived in / worn vibe, and I think it's probably a bit intentional on their part to add a bit of a rustic edge. It really depends on your interior design taste. What I also really like is this place has an outward looking ethos; local business and event leaflets are displayed, as are pieces of local artwork. Their support of the local community really gives the café a warm and welcoming vibe. There's also a 15% discount for local Gravesend town centre workers and Blue Light Card holders. As for the food here, it essentially processed stuff off a conveyor belt. Having looked at the ingredients labels I'd steer clear.

I love it here and visit at least once a week. The only improvement would be gluten-free food, I'd stay longer if I could eat there.
