I accidentally went into this coffee shop today while I was trying to figure out how to get into the SE Cycle Hub. The barista kindly helped me, so I decided to buy a coffee as a thank-you. At first, I was surprised by the beautiful latte art, but the cappuccino itself — with its silky-smooth texture — tasted amazing too. Nothing from the major chains like Nero, Costa, or Starbucks even comes close. Highly recommended!

Love coming here to have a calm moment before the chaos of commuting. Really tasty coffee in a clean and chilled out setting with great music.

This used to be a good coffee shop but the coffee quality has sadly quickly gone downhill, on my first few visits the coffee was amazing, but since then it's been just average. I would say it's still better than the café inside the station. Please note they have no ceramics! So just plain (undecorated) paper cups with microplastics. They are catering primarily for the “grab and go” crowd rather than the “sit and sip” crowd. Their regular size coffee is £3.80 which is on the pricey side. £4.40 for a "large", the cup is just a slightly bigger medium, which is quite a way off the large coffees served in Costa, Starbies, etc, for comparison. The café targets train commuters primarily, hence being right by the train station, but you could just as easily come here for a regular coffee fix. The modern-minimalist space inside is snug but not cramped. More seating would be ideal. Do note there are nicer café interiors around the town centre, but this more than serves its purpose as a pitstop. Another plus is their music choice and sound system. Perfect volume, and good track selection to create a bit of an atmosphere. As it's a small place you won't necessarily get the usual atmosphere from people chatting, but the music here makes up for that, to some extent.
